Strikes hit Gaza homes after the US unveiled plan for Hamas disarmament and Israeli withdrawal.

The new roadmap is not a replacement for Trump’s broader Gaza peace plan, but an attempt to turn it into a phased process of Israeli withdrawal, Palestinian governance and Hamas disarmament.

Israeli airstrikes in Gaza killed at least four Palestinians on Sunday as separate attacks hit Gaza City and Deir al-Balah. The strikes came even as a US-backed ceasefire roadmap remained stalled over disputes between Israel and Hamas.

President Trump’s announcement came at a difficult point in his relationship with the Israeli leader over their war against Iran.
