Fife Council has marked a major milestone in its plans to better connect Levenmouth communities and regenerate the area as work starts on the £5.8m Mountfleurie Active Travel Bridge project. The new 100m crossing, which will span the Levenmouth Rail Link between Kirkland and Mountfleurie, will provide a 4m wide safe, scenic and accessible route for walking, cycling and wheeling, and is due to be open by March 2026.
